The beautiful, elegant Egoist floor mat in a wonderful snow white color adds texture and dimension to the master bath in our new condo. The footprints it shows from our Japanese slippers actually add a very soft gray tone to the rug that matches the light gray of our tile floor. They dion’t translate as dirt. Still, a white mat requires more frequent washing and I’m glad our washroom is connected to the bathroom. (Having a large front-loading washer/dryer is definitely helpful when cleaning the 28” x 47” size rug — the perfect size for a double sink. )

I purchased a few of these bathmats in fog because they best matched the décor in my main bathroom. While they seem well made, I was surprised by how small they are, both in terms of width and length and of thickness. These are not plush mats, but thin. They feel a bit thicker than they actually are because of the material. They are non-skid, without the usual ""plastic"" type feel of most, which is nice. These are the most expensive mats I have seen, so given the price, I guess I expected a bit more. If you are needing a smaller bathmat and do not need plush, these are quite nice. I just wish they came in a larger size, especially for the money.
