I love Sferra products. I Purchased this ivory ultra-fine wool blanket a few winters ago. When it arrived it was an absolutely gorgeous and soft piece of cloth you ever did see. After using it for two nights it began to badly pill ball all over. I immediately contacted customer service who kindly said they would reach out to their sferra rep. I sent them photos. They got right back to me. Sferra pushed back hard saying I must have had a heavy blanket or cover rubbing against it to cause it to pill (I didn’t) and their extraordinary Merino lambs wool blanket would not naturally do that. I was Disappointed by the response and Fine Linen customer service refused to support me so that’s how I left it. I live in Texas so only need this comfortably warm unsightly pill filled blanket a few weeks out of the year in the winter. I keep it neatly folded at the bed edge and only use to pull it open on the coldest of nights as a top cover. No pets. Regardless of gentle care, it continues to more pill over like a cheap wool seat cover. Good luck.
