Puro is woven in Portugal from 100% Egyptian Giza 45 cotton, one of the rarest and finest cottons in the world, in an 820 thread count sateen. It is quiet luxury in its truest form, with a silky, softly lustrous surface and an exceptional touch that celebrates the essence of simplicity.
Giza 45 is grown in limited quantities in a small region of Egypt’s Nile Delta. It is prized for its exceptionally long, ultra-fine fibers, which can be spun into some of the finest cotton yarns available. In Puro, those yarns are woven in a sateen weave that floats more threads on the surface of the fabric. The result is a sumptuously smooth hand, a gentle sheen, and a fluid drape with a cozy, enveloping warmth. With each wash, Puro sateen grows softer and more supple and holds its strength and beauty for years.
A double satin stitch frames each piece with a refined, tailored finish. The duvet covers and shams have a generous 1¼" flange that gives a fully dressed bed crisp, architectural definition.
