My 3 month old had developed a bald spot on the back of his head from his cotton crib sheet and I was really on the fence about what felt like splurging for silk crib sheets but I just felt like having his little hairs yanked at night must be so uncomfortable so I just went for it. It has only been two nights so it is too soon to see about his hair, although I am confident it will grow back.
An unexpected benefit of these sheets however, is that my baby has slept his longest stretches in the last two nights since putting the sheets on his mattress. He went from waking up every 2-4 hours (with an occasional 6 hour stretch) to sleeping a full 8. 5 hours two nights in a row. This is incredible. I know it has everything to do with how much more comfortable he is sleeping on this sheet.
I washed the sheet before putting it on his mattress and it washed and air dried beautifully. He has an ikea sniglar crib and a newton mattress and the sheet works perfectly with both- fits the newton mattress well and does not snag on the natural wood of the crib.
I will be buying a spare!

My little pumpkin sleeps so much better on these sheets. They keep him cool at night and most importantly protect his hair. Due to cradle cap a lot of his hair came out but with these sheets his hair is growing back sooo fast! This is a must have for babies!
After searching for what seemed like forever. . . I finally found true silk fitted sheets for my daughter's crib. I have a satin pillowcase but since my daughter is still a baby and can't use pillows, I was left to use the regular cotton sheets. Until I stumbled upon Mulberry silks. Holy moly my daughter LOVES it. . . and I say that because before she would always get hot but now she actually loves to roll around in her crib and enjoy the cool sheet on her skin. And this Mama loves that her very curly hair is knots and frizz-free. Now that I spoiled my daughter, I want to spoil myself. I'm saving up for a silk sheet for my king size bed. Oh, it's definitely going to happen. And no worries about the wrinkles they disappear once on the bed and just use a very gentle soap to clean it
The soft blush rose pink is exactly as described I love that this sheet doesn't give off that shiny satin look as I thought. I assumed with every little drool spot a stain would be left behind, but it doesn't!! We have only had a week so excited to see the growth and help when it comes to hair as for the main reason in purchasing. Wrinkles don't even show when it is spread onto matteress. So far 5 stars
