In Fall 2021 Abyss Habidecor reduced the color options of their Abyss Twill Towels from 60 to 30 standard colors. This color shown is outside of their standard options but can still be purchased with a 15% up-charge on the retail pricing as shown. The lead time on these towels may be slightly longer but we are happy to be able to still offer this color for our customers.

The popular twill collection is woven to the same exacting standards that make Abyss a leader in luxury, quality, and durability.
Craftsmanship: Abyss towels are made to order in Portugal from 100% Egyptian Giza 88 Extra Long Staple Cotton. While other brands my incorporate different grades of Egyptian cotton in their towels, Abyss uses it in all three weaving directions: weft, warp and pile made of double twist. This makes Abyss towels low in lint, stronger, and longer lasting. Furthermore, Abyss puts proportionately more weight into the pile of the towel as opposed to the base, which makes it dry better than others of the same weight.
Distinctive Details: Abyss towels are bound with a signature bias trim; they're finished with continuous, curved corners that are more durable than traditional square finish. They're also pre-shrunk and piece-dyed after sewing to ensure the towel, label, and trim are color matched. The towel you purchase will be the towel you see, washing after washing.
Caring for your towels: Wash and Tumble Dry at low temperatures. Drying hot will greatly reduce the life of the towel. Do not over-dry towels and rugs. Using care when washing will add years to the life of your Abyss Twill towels.
Do NOT bleach or use any detergent containing bleach. Beware of facial creams or ointments. These can cause discoloration and stains. Avoid fabric softeners as these can coat the cotton fibers in unnecessary chemicals and can reduce absorbency and can make your towel or bath rug less soft over time.
If pulls or snags should occur, simply snip them down to the level of the other loops. This will not affect the towel. Always wash Twill towels by themselves, without clothing, rugs or other home linen items. If pulls are noticed after washing, check your washing machine for any sharp plastic that may have been previously damaged by zippers. Wash whites and colors separately.
The Following Sizes and Colors are typically available for immediate shipment in White, Ecru, Ivory*: Wash Cloth (12" x 12") / Hand Towel (17" x 30") / Bath Towel (28" x 54"). In White, Double Bath Mats / Must Bath Rugs in 20" x 31" and 23" x 39".

These towels are fantastic for washing as they are very absorbent and take less time to wash. I choose them every time. Highly recommend.
These towels are fairly densely woven especially when compared to the Abyss super pile towels, which I think works a lot better for a bath sheet than something fluffy. I was worried that twill would feel too rough, but they're surprisingly soft. The shorter loops makes it much less likely to snag when compared to the super pile. I wash these on the hottest setting on my machine, and the colors and edges have held well, without any signs of wear, fading, or warping. Towel doesn't seem to have shrunk after washing and drying.
Bought Super Pile Euro Bath Sheets - ultra-luxurious and larger than many full-size bath sheets - but wanted a lighter-weight wahcloths. These aren't as plush as the Super Piles, but the ribbed texture is great for the light scrubbing you might want for your face. Love the rounded corners.
