Traditional pillowcases do not have the softness of silk and over time, this causes damage to skin and hair. Silk is so gentle, it allows skin and hair to glide across the silk surface—protecting and hydrating skin, reducing split ends, bedhead and ensuring a longer-lasting blow out.
Care Instructions: Machine washing silk in cool water to cold water is ideal. Temperatures above 80 degrees Fahrenheit (29 Celsius) can damage silk significantly. It is best to wash all silk products in cold water. Don't use bleach, which will harm the fabric and cause it to yellow, or fabric softener which can leave residue on the fabric.
