Woven in Italy from a breathable blend of 60% Egyptian cotton and 40% linen, this yarn-dyed boutis stripe features a prewashed finish that creates a soft, seer-suckered texture—perfect for layering in warm, humid climates.

Care Instruction: Machine wash separately using a detergent formulated specifically for luxury linens. Use warm water on normal wash cycle with a high-speed rinse to remove extra water from the fabric. Tumble dry using a low temperature and delicate cycle.
SDH bedding is custom made to order and requires a 6-8 week lead time. Certain items may be in stock and available for immediate shipping. Returns and exchanges are accepted only on unused items in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Custom orders, washed items, and monogrammed products are final sale.

SDH Founder and President Sigrid Wagner grew up in Europe and from a very early age was passionate about sewing, weaving and knitting. Her love of textiles continued in Upstate New York where she raised sheep and learned to spin and dye her own yarn. She became an expert weaver of natural fibers and replicated antique rugs and masterpieces for museums and clients throughout the world.
After moving to Northern California she found a way to combine her love for textiles and her genuine concern for the environment. In 1986, inspired by her own collection of antique linens handed down through generations, she founded SDH Fine European Linens. Her first line of products, The Purists® collection was sought after by high-end specialty stores who valued natural luxury linens, and within months, SDH began to flourish.
From the start, Sigrid's son and daughter, Joel Hedberg and Susan Farrell, have been an integral part of the business. Both are involved in every aspect of SDH and are proud of the products and the strong relationships enjoyed with customers, vendors, employees and craftsmen.
