This blanket was a gift from a dear friend and I absolutely love it!!!! (She let me pick it out!)

I had been on the search for a blanket like an old blanket I had for years, though still very nice and heavy and warm, had lost it's plushyness and gotten a little threadbare over the last 20+ years with much wash and wear.

When the new blanket arrived it was lovely and soft but didn't feel quite like my old one, which was a bit of a let down. I have read a number of reviews where people loved their blanket at first but were unhappy after they washed it. For me it was the opposite! LoL! I am happy to report that after the first washing, (according to instruction, though the dryer may have been a bit hot at the laundromat but the blanket was fine) ---- the weave has tightened up a bit and NOW feels much like my old blanket! It probably shrank a little bit but not in any way noticeable to me. I love a generous amount of blanket to cocoon under and always like to size up a bit anyway. Another great thing about these plush cotton blankets is I find myself more comfortable sleeping because cotton is a natural breathable fiber and I don't get too hot (or too cold!)

May I also add, that when I called for help choosing the blanket, customer service was wonderful!!

I am so delighted with my new blanket and look forward to cuddling under it for many years to come!!! (My cat Figaro agrees!)
