I had a (only!) 2 year old white cotton shower curtain w/ a blue/gray ribbon stripe for my guest bathroom shower — emphasis on guest bathroom — and so it was not used but a few times in the past 2 years. When I attempted to remove a stain from the white part of the curtain, it nearly dissolved in my hands. I decided to purchase a substantial, well-made, and expensive replacement. The Newport has been, so far, entirely worth it. The shower curtain is gorgeous — substantial w/ a patterned white fabric and beautiful multi-striped and edged blue-gray colored ribbon trim called Sea. It is so bright and beautiful! If it lasts as many years as I hope, it will be a worthwhile investment! Having a sample sent in advance of purchase was such a plus. Wonderful product, terrific company, excellent customer service! I highly recommend.
